Following previous releases for Lust Vessel and Rockatansky, Throne Heap is proud to announce the latest cassette from Shin Chida's Burried Machine project. On Bulkface, Shin manages to combine tape loops and synth in a manner that is both aggressive & relaxing at the same time. Fans of old school industrial noise take note.

The A-side of Chambers captures the sound of a lonely synth as it quietly echoes its way through a ten story parking garage. Hear the conjoined power of two carefully placed microphones as they mine for acoustic gold within the walls of a public eyesore. The B-side retreats indoors but doesn't shut the door too tightly; allowing for field tapes to bleed into looped guitar & other homemade effects.

Sewer Election - Vittra Sönder LP

Tape manipulation and metal abuse at it's absolute finest. A few minutes of primitive organ melody mark the A-side of this LP, while the flipside features some percussive stabs so sparsely placed that they could nearly be counted on one hand. Although these musical passages are brief, they are worth mentioning as they significantly compliment the overall mood & pacing of the album. Deep within the grooves of Vittra Sönder the musique truly meets the concrète. Recorded at Utmarken Gothenburg, Sweden 2010-2011.
